Although there are no specific prerequisites for this qualification, applicants must meet the following entry requirements to gain admission to the training program:
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 15 years old or older.
- Language and Literacy Skills: Applicants should have sound language and literacy skills, which is typically equivalent to completing Year 10 English or a comparable level of proficiency.
- Computer Skills: Applicants need to possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with using computers and standard software applications.

- Insurance for Voluntary Work: Ensure coverage through insurance for any voluntary work undertaken.
